Two bodies, two minds, two hearts and still one being.Eight legs moved in a steady motion,in a rhythmic unison. The one on the left-an ebony bodice moved quickly, large than the other, and hitting the snow covered ground with heavier paws. The other,a white figure whose movements flowed smoothly, the being blending in almost perfectly with the snow, except for a flash of gold that streamed across the figure as she moved in the sunlight.
Shall we stop,brother? Yes,we shall.For now.
The figure that spoke first, the white and yellow body, slowed to a trot, and finally stopped moving altogether.Looking back with topaz orbs, the fae gave a smile small as the darkened wolf, who had purple bouncing off him in the sun slowed and came up to her.Looking around, his pointed ears stood high and erect, listening for others. The fae took this as a sign, and nodded, lifting her nose in the air and inhaling deeply. They switched off, turning their heads in different directions, using their senses at the same time.Having two pairs of ears and two noses got more info than just one.
Lowering his ears, the male's blood red orbs flashed at his sister,a small look of sadness on his face. There had been wolves here, but they had moved on by now.His nose had also sniffed the air,and something troubled him deeply. One scent seemed so familiar...but it had to be a dream. His sister had obviously sensed it too,he could feel it.They could feel each others emotions,it was so strange. They even knew what the other was thinking before they said it.Their mother had called it twin telepathy.
Dawn,we will stay in these lands for awhile- For I sense it too Twilight.Others are nearby,it would be best- To stick around and see what this area can give us.Yes,it would be the best decision. For now.
Dawn smalled at her brother, and lifted her head to the heavens.Opening her maw,she sang out,and Twilight soon joined in,sitting back on his haunches and singing with his head tilted back.We are Twilight and Dawn, new to these lands.Join us in conversation and help guide us with your information. We are friends, not foes.Come, one and all!

The songs of the dogs filled his ears and made him cringe. It seemed so easy and calm here for him to enjoy any of it. It made him sick to realize that wolves could be happy together. But the scents that flooded his nostrils seemed identical, except the males was scent was stronger.
Taking this step toward the wolves could result in a fight. But then the name of the place came to his mind. Friendship pool. Surely it wouldn't be proper to fight in a place that was given such a strong name and meaning? That, was something he would have to find out for himself.
Pacing back and forth, he stopped and let out a howl, to answer their song. He let all his emotions to flood out of his body and flow to the wolves in greeting and with meaning. Drawing the howl to an end, he took a step forward toward the pool and exposed himself to the wolves. They seemed calm enough and they both smelt of rogues.
"Hello." He growled, not with hatred but with power. If he could prove to these wolves that he was powerful, maybe he could gain their trust.

A snow white head was turned to the male, examinig him cautiously.Giving a nod in greeting,Dawn turned completely around, looking at the male curiously. After catching his scent,Twilight too, turned to the newcomer to see who had arrived.A male.He took a step in front of his siter protectively, and was given a scowl by the fae in return.
Shaking her head, she turned to look at the male and to speak. Hello.I am Dawn and- I am Dusk.We are new here, and as you- Have probably already guessed,we are brother and sister.However- I bet you didn't know we were twins.
The two wolves spoke in turn, finishing each others sentences so well, one could tell that it came naturally to them, and they had been doing it for awhile.A smile was flashed by Dawn and Dusk gave a small nod before opening his mouth to speak.
So who are you?He could sense power coming from this brute, but he was not intimidated.Dusk really just wanted friends,so he tried to be as sociable as possible.

A snarl escaped from his maw, a snarl that was meant to be a laugh. His yellow eyes stared at the femme and the brute. They seemed as if it would be useless to fight them. But then again, why would he need to fight them? This was the Freindship pool. Shaking his head he took another step forward and a growl rumbled from his chest.
"I am Kain. I am but only a rogue as I may guess you are as well." Blinking slowly he his turned off of Dusk and landed on Dawn. My oh my, she's a pretty wolf. No don't think like that. He told himself and he looked to the Brute. He would be an easy battle, He thought to himself and started sizing up the wolf.

An eyebrow was raised by Dawn, and in turn her brother also gave a slightly confused look at the brute. Blood red pools stared for a moment, sizing the other up as well. There would be no point in trying to fight Dusk-his sister would just join in. Taking a risk, the ashen brute sat back on his haunches, but he stayed alert and ready for action. Dawn refused to assume the position her brother had, and chose to remain standing on all four pillars.
Well, Kain, it is a pleasure to meet you, at least that is what we are assuming. Yes, quite a pleasure. So can you tell us, Kain- How long have you lived here?

Kain's eyes squinted supisciously at the Brute, as he sat down in an almost submissive manner. Baring his teeth slightly, he turned away from the two wolves and thought about the question. How long HAVE I lived here. He thought to himself and he closed his eyes. The answer remained unknown to him as he sighed and turned around to look once again at the femme and brute.
"I have lived here no longer then a rise and fall of the sun." He replied in a calm and relaxed manner but all the time his muscles were tense and ears were pricked forward in a defensive manner.

Dusk's temper remained even and calm on the outside, but his heart raced and pounded against his chest on the inside. He knew that Dawn would readily and happily jump in to protect her brother, but he wouldn't allow her to be hurt, not if this brute decided to take advantage of his weakened position. It all became too much for him, and he stood up quickly, flicking his ebony tail about him as he did so. Looking at his sister with cautious bloody pools, he looked back at Kain as a response for his question came.
Nodding slowly as she listened to him, Dawn looked at Kain and managed to muster up a smile, though her body was tense and her insides squirmy. Her topaz eyes looked warm, but her heart felt cold and hard. She hadn't been around another wolf besides he brother since...their parents had died. Now, it felt awkward to her, and she couldn't remember what was proper behavior. But for now, she replied to Kain.
We have not been here much longer than you, Kain. I think about three risings and fallings?
She looked to her brother for confirmation.
Yes, not more than three dear sister.

Kain's broad head nodded slowly with understanding. Many wolves he had met on the way had only been in that area for a brief time. Yet, he had never felt anything for the wolves previously, but he had a feeling for these wolves, of maybe, if the word was right, a feeling of freindship. The concept felt strange to him, for he felt he had never experienced the feeling of friendship. But, on top of that feeling, another feeling had washed over him, a feeling that confused him and made him angry. He felt this strange feeling whenever he looked upon Dawn. Pushing the thought of his mind, he thought of a question that seemed far from anything he felt at the moment.
"So are you loners, or have you been exiled, like I have many times, from many different packs." He forced out the last part of his question with difficulty.

The heads nodded together in unison. Loners, they were. Exiles, not really, but they could never go back home. Not with those...savages residing there. They looked at each other, and looked like they were communicating mentally, or thinking as one. Then, like they were the same being, the two wolves answered Yes in unison before turning away from each other and focusing their separate pools on Kain.
Dawn took particular interest, examining this brute, and wondering whether he was friend or foe. Then again, he hadn't attacked her brother yet, and he was being relatively kind to the two, so he couldn't be all bad. She decided she would like to befriend this male, and gave a warm smile, not odd when coming to males, but odd because she was actually making a friendly gesture for once. Twilight, on the other hand, surveyed him with more caution, and looked frequently back at Dawn, then towards Kain again. He decided this male was no threat for now, and he would accept his presence. Besides, the last thing he wanted was an enemy, especially after living with only his sister for what seemed like an eternity now.The two had heard Kain speak of his many exiles, but they both decided it was best not to push upon the subject, for it seemed like a sensitive matter to the lone brute.
Well, Kain.I think it would be best for all three of us- If you joined us in our travels.
Dawn finished for her brother. Two pairs of orbs set upon him curiously, awaiting his answer patiently.

Kain closed his eyes at the thought of travelling with the two wolves. It would be better, and maybe, if he could get Dawn away from her brother, it would be easier to convince the femme that they should join a pack and slowly take it over, with force. As hard as he tried to hide his plan, he coudn't help but feel that his eyes would reveal what he thought inside. Standing up and lowering his head in a bow, he replied, "I would be honoured to travel with you two. "

A happy Dawn yipped in glee, and a more casual Twilight nodded, a small smile upon his ebony maw. Dawn took a step closer to Kain, bowing before him as he had done, showing her respect. Hunting would be much easier now, and it would be better to have another wolf around, especially one who was unrelated to them. It was better for a pack if everyone didn't have the same bloodlines. Twilight in turn dipped his own crown in response to Kain's, and he lifted his head and looked off into the distance. If they were going to be a trio, they needed a place to stay. And food. Turning his bloody pools on Kain once more, he tilted his head to the side.
It is our pleasure to have you, Kain.I think there are some important matters to attend to though, don't you think?
Looking at Dawn, who nodded in agreement, the brute stood up, gave a short stretch, then scented the air. Food. Just the thought of bigger and better game now made his mouth water. He kept his composure however and looked back at the male, who was keeping his head low for some odd reason. But Twilight decided not to question it.
