A snarl tore free from her lips, she was in a foul mood today, it had been a while since she had last eaten or slept and the effects were taking their toll on her body and making her more irritable than normal. Her feet padded softly against the hard ground. Pushkin’s head rose as she heard the sound of a baby deer. Today must be my lucky day… she thought to her self as she pounce on the deer and her jaws closed around it’s throat and tore open it’s jugular. Pushkin licked her lips as the bloodlust gripped her and soon the she-wolf had eaten most of the deer. Pushkin licked her lips again in a bid to remove the blood that stained the fur on her muzzle and she was mildly successful though still some remained.
Now that she had eaten she was feeling much better but her tired limbs still complained to give way under beneath her at any moment. With a yawn she decided to find some where to sleep. It did not take pushkin long to find an ideal cave, it would offer her protecting from the weather and if any one tried to attack her then she was more than capable of defending her self. Pushkin made her way into the darkness that consumed the back of the cave and she lay down resting her head on her paws. It didn’t take long for the beautiful she-wolf to fall asleep.
As she slept she remembered her life when she was just a young cub, how her and her friends had always wondered what hell was like, well pushkin now had the chance to find out. She had managed to find away across to the after life and even how to get back again. She remembered her mother telling her all sorts of different stories about hell, pushkin hadn’t believed any of them. She wasn’t even sure if she believed in the devil, but any time she had said anything out loud she had been punished by nips from her mother and full on attacks from her father, he would only stop when she told him that she had only been joking and of course she belived, since then she had kept quite.
But now, now she had a chance to find out if there was a devil, she believed in the after life now, she had to, she was here and it was real. A thought came to pushkin as she slept, she had killed that deer, but if this was the afterlife then she couldn’t have done that, could she? Or is the afterlife really just another life ad you can still die? So many unanswered questions floating around in her head. Part of her hoped there was a devil and that he would answer her questions, but the other part of her didn’t want there to be so that she would have been right when she had said that there was no such thing.
Pushkin woke from her slumber feeling much better than she had before she had gone to sleep. Within a second of waking up she was on her feet and heading out of the cave. Pushkin sighed, she had no idea where she should be heading and so she decided to wait where she was, if there really was anyone then surely they would come to her. Right?

{In hell above}
A wolf in the form of a shadow looked down. His long teeth glinted in the darkness. He was Oear... Owner of Hell. His blue eyes glittered. This was a wolf with a cursed name. She hated it quite obviously. Her name was Pushkin. Sounded like a house cat's name to him. His cold eyes glittered. Everything was still. Why was she in the sleep lands of hell? Why was she here anyway, at any rate. He tried to focus on the wolf and see her past but nothing came to his mind.
He looked into the wolfs eyes. Then he stretched out a long paw into the mortal world. At that instant he was sucked into reality. He was forced into his true shadow fire form. He looked like a burning inferno of black fire in the shape of a wolf.

Stupid good for nothing supposedly real devil wolf, there wasn’t such a thing, pushkin yawned, she wasn’t tired, it was a yawn of boredom. Waiting to see if the monster from the nightmare when she had been a cub was real or not was a very boring thing to do. The she-wolf looked around, her eyes searching every where, if nothing happened sooner or later she would return to the land of the living and presume that she had been right and there was no devil, but should something happen, well in that situation she wasn’t quiet sure what she would do.
Pushkin opened her jaws wide again and yawned once more, it was then that she saw him a black wolf, if you could call it a wolf, it looked like a wolf, but it also looked like it was on fire. Pushkin shook her head and her eyes studied the wolf for a few seconds before she spoke. “Interesting…” Pushkin took a step closer to the beast and sniffed the air, “… So I was wrong, you are real.”

Pushkin sorted gently under her breath, “some one woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.” She muttered under her breath but no doubt Oear would have heard it. “No offence but I always thought you were just a story used to scare cubs when the misbehaved.” Pushkin wasn’t about to add that he had been in so many of her nightmares when she had been no more than a cub her self, no there was defiantly no need to add that. After all she wasn’t scared of him now, even if he could probably kill her with ease she wasn’t scared. “Oh and also no offence… again but I thought that if you were real, then you’d be well I gotta say either scary or sexy.” Pushkin studied him for a while longer, nope he was no where near scary, not to her at least. He was pretty sexy but only in a kind of bad guy way, not really look wise.

{Fool of the Mortal World} "Silly, Silly Mortal" He cackled. His eyes drew across her. She wanted scary, eh? He smirked again and then he burst into a shoal of crimson flames.
He was nowhere to be seen now. After all, He had used a simple trick. He had created fire, turned invisible and then doused the burning flame. But she wouldn't know.
"But the scary thing is, I am dead... You are being visited by a phantom... A spectre... A ghost" He sniffed, still invisible. She wouldnt be able to tell where he was and what he was doing...

Pushkin rolled her eyes. “Yea I don’t scare that easily, I’m in the realm of dead I kind of expected to see dead people.” Pushkin nodded, it was true, you didn’t travel to the land of the dead and the b scared when you were met by a ghost. Pushkin raised an eyebrow, “nice party trick.” Maybe the fact that she didn’t fear death was the reason why she wasn’t scared, but what ever the reason, the thing is she wasn’t scared. “And by the way I’m not called silly, silly mortal.” She added sarcastically, “the names Pushkin.” The she-wolf knew where her name had come from, it had come from a human lanuage, and it meant gun or cannon.

{Just Give up already} <Insert image here because I cant find one XD> "You know that human's Cats have that name... Right?" He laughed. How pathetic she was. She was trying to make him leave. But this was his land. He wasnt leaving at any rate. His smile broadened and he appeared then.
-My muse abandoned me on that one ><-

“Yeah I know, still at any rate it beats Oear.” Pushkin had no intention of leaving nor did she want Oear to leave. Now that she had gotten over the boredom of waiting for him to show up and the annoyance that all these years she had been wrong she decided he was an ok kinda guy, after all so far he hadn’t tried to kill her and that was always a good sign. “I actually thought you’d be all snobbish and all high and mighty, but you’re not actually that bad compared to most of the guys back in the place of the live people.” Pushkin studied the beast before her, her eyes never seemed to leave him as she tried to work out the question in her head.
“If you don’t mind I have some questions.” Pushkin had planned on waiting until he told her if he minded or not but for some reason she really couldn’t be bothered to. “First off, I killed a deer, but if this is like the land of the dead and all that c.rap then is that possible and if yes how? Secondly, whats your purpose, I don’t mean to be rude, but what do you actually do?”

{Thinking of title} Oear thought about the killed deer question. He pondered hard. The way he made sense of it was that she was asking why isn't the deer here?
"There is another land for each dead animal. This consists of only wolves" He replied after a while.
"I am here to look after Hell and guard the dark side. I am the lord and alpha of all darkness. I am what you thought I was as a pup" He answered. It seemed in riddle...

Pushkin nodded as he said about the deer, but she still didn’t understand what he did, “That’s just a job title, I know you “dark lord” but other than scaring pups what do actually do all day.” Thinking back to it her mother no father had ever told her what it was that Oear actually did. The confusion must have shown on her face as she tried to figure out exactly what had been so scary in the stories that it had given her nightmares. “one thing I was never told is how you came to be, if you don’t mind telling me I would like to hear that story.”

((Hhehehe! Me likes the image!)) One of Oear's favourite things was telling him how he came to be. "You may want to lay down." he spoke and then began with a long tale, "I was once the alpha of Delta Bay. I lead my pack into power and victory. I had the perfect mate to. I bred and I had pups. My great(x10) grandpup is actually Morker. It was long ago when this happened. The land here was taken by wolves many many centuries back. It was still the time when humans inhabitted the river and the fort." He stopped, Catching his breath and wondering for questions about the first part. [/size]

Pushkin nodded and laid down resting her head on her paws. As he spoke she listened carefully, it was when he mentioned humans that she really started to pay attention, Pushkin was more or less obsessed by the two leggereds, the strange habits and unusal ways made her want to find out more about them, she knew it would be dangerous to track down a human den and watch them but really that was what she most wanted to do with her life. Her friends all said she was crazy and humans were to be feared not admired, but Pushkin always had been a bit of an odd ball and she never had listened to her friends.
She was of in her own little world, thinking about the strange two leggereds that had hunted down and killed her kind, when she realized Oear had stopped talking, she took this opportunity to ambush with question’s regarding humans. “What are they like? The humans that is.” Pushkin waited impatiently for a moment before she asked her next question, “tell me everything you know about them, please?” It was then that she realized if she wanted him to finished his current story she would have to wait for the answers to her question.
“But please finish this story first.”

"I was leading my pack into great darkness and vitory. We were the strongest of them all... Until I found myself cornered by the evil ones of the humans. Not all are bad though. They held something which killed my mate. They called it a gun. Then... Then they shot me....

Sometimes I get so weird I even freak myself out I laugh myself to sleep It's my lullaby Sometimes I drive so fast Just to feel the danger I wanna scream It makes me feel alive
Pushkin knew at once what he was talking about, her sister had been shot when she was a year old, they had never been close and her death had just made Pushkin more fascinated by the two leggered kind. Of course it was then that her parents turned against her, telling her she was a pathetic excuse for a wolf, that she didn’t care that her sister had died, they had chased her out of the pack and told her that to them she was dead and they had no living children, they said that if they ever saw her again they would tear open her flesh and leave her to feed the birds. That was another thing she was fascinated by, birds. She longed to fly in the sky, feel true freedom and not be stuck to the ground.
Is it enough to love? Is it enough to breathe? Somebody rip my heart out And leave me here to bleed Is it enough to die? Somebody save my life I'd rather be anything but ordinary please
So at one year old she was a loner, a curl, an exile. She spent her days hunting and watching the birds, knowing she would never soar free like them, but still hoping, she was fascinated with how they were so in time with each other and they flew in the perfect formation, Pushkin knew she would never get that close to a human so she learnt a lot about birds. At one time she befriended a kestrel she was drawn to that bird like a bee to honey, but of course the bird didn’t feel compelled to remain with the wolf and had soon left her, Pushkin had presumed she had flown south for the winter like birds did, but the kestrel never came back and Pushkin gave up hoping it ever would.
To walk within the lines Would make my life so boring I want to know that I Have been to the extreme So knock me off my feet Come on now give it to me Anything to make me feel alive
Pushkin looked to Oear it was hard to picture as ever been just a normal wolf, or a silly, silly mortal as he had called her. Pushkin looked around her and she was shocked by the fact that in the two years of her life she had already seen and done far more than she should ever do in her lifetime, she had visited the after life many times before and each time she had traveled safely back home, she had done something that wolves never did while they were living and they only did it once when they died but they never went back. It was as the realization hit home that she suddenly felt home sick. But not just home sick, she missed the company of others, she was enjoying spending time with this weird creature that was a wolf and although was still one in away felt like something more, she was realizing that she missed having company.
Let down your defences Use no common sense If you look you will see that this world is a beautiful accident, turibulent, succulent opulent permanent, no way I wanna taste it Don't wanna waste it away
Living on their own was not an attractive choice for a wolf, they a pack animals and in a pack they feel safe, been on their own left them unprotected and vulnerable if two or more wolves decided to attack, without the protection and company of others and wolf wasn’t whole, and Pushkin never had a choice about been on her own, it was what fate had planned for her, but she no longer wanted fate to rule her life, she wanted to decided her own destiny and not have it written out for her to follow. Pushkin’s gaze held Oear’s and she spoke, her voice full of sadness, sorrow and a slight tinge of regret. “Don’t you get lonely?”
Sometimes I get so weird I even freak myself out I laugh myself to sleep It's my lullaby
