Nacht Burg is a place for all creatures. They congregate from all over the world to find a place where there are others like them, and where the will not be prosecuted for their differences. While there are many, many places like Nacht Burg scattered across the globe, this is the largest and by far the most well known - Creatures are most likely to find their way here.
Once upon a time, Nacht Burg was a large castle that housed not-so-royalty, but it was full of servants and guests and god knows what else. One of the servants - A pheonix by the name of Marcus - couldn't stand it any longer. He knew that there were others like him, he knew that they had to hide and he, quite frankly, was getting tired of it. He couldn't stand this - this hiding. He rebelled.
Marcus gathered up a small group of other creatures, and they poisoned food, slit throats, and those who couldn't do that did all they could to frighten the humans residing in the Nacht Burg castle. It took only months for the people to clear out. Marcus and his rebels were triumphant.
Nacht Burg became a haven for all creatures, who flocked to its walls and forests for a place to be accepted... For over 600 years, Nacht Burg has been a place of peace and acceptance. But... certainly it can't stay that way forever... or can it?
