[glow=white,2,300]Run, run, as far as you can[/glow]
Name || Serellius 'Radar' Kathetar
Age || Unknown, likely between the ages of two and four
Gender || Male
Side || Shadows, of course
Appearance || Radar's muzzle is long and slender, and just perfect for the dark wolf, in his own opinion. His muzzle is not flecked with any colour other than the midnight black that always remains as Radar's disguise. His nose is not particularily big or small, and fits in perfectly with the size of the rest of his body.
Leading up from the muzzle, we come to the stop, which will ease us up to Radar's head. The shape of his head is that typical of any wolf, and like the rest of him, in good proportion. There is no oddities about the general shape of his head.
Radar's eyes are among the first of his differences. The things that make him an exile among the wolves. The rogue's eyes are very strange indeed. One is the original colour of both eyes, a beautiful emerald. But the other is dark red, and suggests a certain darkness inside of him.
His ears made him strange as well. Radar's ears...they weren't oversized or extremely tiny or anything. They weren't particularily sharp or blunt when it came to his hearing...it was just like any other wolf's, it seemed. But there was something that made those ears different. Where one ear stuck straight up like any other, the other one always laid against his head. Occasionally, if something exciting happens, Radar's left ear sticks up as well, but otherwise, that's how they are.
Radar's neck was well-muscled, but nothing all that different. It was simply a part of him that connected Radar's head to his back. His general body shape, speaking of which, was not particularily different...Radar was a little more slender than most of his gender, but that was about it.
His tail was not all that different either. Not long nor short, and not fat nor thin. Just perfect in proportion to the rest of his body. Radar's tail had a red stripe on it, however -- one that started at the tip and ran down to about halfway up his back.
His legs were, like his tail, not long nor short and not fat nor thin. They were in good proportion, but a little more slender than most would expect, and only slightly longer. This would explain Radar's speed, which was quite fast.
[glow=white,2,300]I'll always catch you.[/glow]
His fur, as mentioned before, was not particularily special. He had black fur and the red stripe on his back and tail. His fur was of medium length, again, not too special. It wasn't anything to get excited over, but Radar liked it just fine
Personality || Radar isn't a very social wolf. He doesn't enjoy gossipping away about others, or worrying about what others think about him. Besides, Radar already knows how other wolves feel about him. And he knows it isn't particularily great thoughts.
Radar only hates, they say. He never feels love and never has. Even as a cub, he was trained to hate by the way he was treated, in the sense of his brother's popularity and Radar's...unpopularity.
He likes being alone, that's for sure. He's quite independant, and it's likely that the dark wolf won't ever find the need to join a pack. Not again, that is.
Radar is dark. He's filled with a hellish darkness that controls his mind and body. That darkness that took over when he was born, giving him sleek black fur that would immediately convince others he was not to be trusted.
Not that he is. Radar shouldn't be trusted with anything. He's completely untrustworthy and has a habit of stealing. Stealing what, you ask? Anything from food to cubs. But of course, the cubs he steals become food. The only thing he's never felt the need to steal is a mate. Like he needs one.
Radar's personality...I'm not going to reveal much more, for I know that once you meet him, you'll see the whole side of the rogue wolf known as Radar.
History || It all started, as usual, with a pair of wolves fall in love. They were the alphas of the Imarrì, a large forest pack with a large amount of territory and a number of powerful warriors. It was filled with wolves of all sorts, and their territory covered the stretch of land between the first forest that lay to the right, and the lake on the far side of the second forest, to the left. To the north it stretched up to a small beach, and to the south there was a field that marked the edge of the Imarrì's territory.
The alphess, a young she-wolf named Luyestria Kathetar gave birth to the first cub, Rellitrus, the night before the thirty-first of October. Her mate, Nellimyuara Kathetar, feared for her by the next day, for she still had a cub within her, but it seemed that he didn't want to leave her womb. The labour went on into the night of Hallowe'en, at which time the second cub was born.
[glow=white,2,300]This is the chase that never ends[/glow]
Nellimyuara had long thought the cub wouldn't survive, but at the sight of him compared to Rellitrus, what he saw only confirmed it all. The cub was small compared to the first one, and when he whimpered and cuddled closer to his mother's warmth, Nell noticed that the young cub's paws didn't work quite like Rellitrus' paws did, and that the second cub struggled much more. Luyestria named him Serellius.
Nell was worried. Each day, the cubs grew, but while Rellitrus thrived and grew stronger and seemed to have more and more potential each day, Serellius remained small compared to his brother and quite weak. As they began to walk about, Nell found his reason to get rid of his weak offspring. Serellius appeared to be lame, for his hind legs didn't want to grip the ground like his front ones did; they didn't stand.
Nell proclaimed his son lame, but Luyestria only snarled at it. "I won't have it," she growled, nuzzling Serellius softly, but keeping a watchful eye on his father. So, Nell allowed his mate to keep the lame cub, and his worst fears came alive.
The weak cub lost his lameness. No one's sure how exactly, but Serellius gained strength enough to stand and walk, just like his brother. The pair continued to grow until one day, the family found their life turned upside down.
At last, Nell had grown to like both of his sons, though he was sure that it would be Rellitrus who took over after his death, not Serellius. But his liking for the runty cub was about to disappear yet again.
Rellitrus and Nell had gone hunting, and Luyestria decided to take Serellius with her. She had noticed that her cub had gained a rather lopsided look, for one of his ears had gained the ability to stand up, but the other one lay flat as it had when he had been born, on that fateful Hallowe'en night.
Serellius had found himself near a cliff, and yelled for his mother after something happened. A rogue wolf nearby, snapping at him and trying desperately to kill him. But Luyestria wouldn't have it. She and the rogue fought, until it ended horribly. The rogue fell to his death, but so did Luyestria.
The lone cub ran home, his green eyes filled with despondency and fear for what had happened. As soon as Nell found it, he worried. His mate gone and one cub to blame. Serellius, in Nell's eye, had caused Luy's death.
[glow=white,2,300]This is the death that always lasts[/glow]
Serellius had noticed his father's lack of interest in him, and began to notice it more as he aged. Before long, he and Rellitrus were about a year and a half, when something happened.
Nell went mad. He was chased away from the pack by a group of warriors after he tried to attack a bunch of his own pack members. Rellitrus was proclaimed the new leader, and here's where Serellius' story becomes even worse.
The wolf grieved little for his father, for Serellius knew well that Nell hadn't exactly been his biggest fan. And with Rellitrus as leader? Each day, Serellius feared being chased away just as Nell had been.
Soon, there was a war between two packs. Serellius had grown angry with his brother, who was recklessly brave and quite hateful of his own sibling, and he had deliberately made his brother's life a living hell.
Serellius decided to get revenge on his brother, and he allied himself with the pack. As his pack attacked during the battle, Serellius switched sides and began to attack his own pack. His own kin in fact, for the siblings of Nell and Luyestria were there, as well as their cubs.
His plan would have worked too, if it hadn't been for the fact that Rellitrus had seen him attacking his own pack. The battle was soon won by the Immarì, and the wolves returned to their homes, worn out and wounded by the day's battle.
But as soon as they set foot into the pack's camp, Rellitrus rushed up upon a large rock from which he called meetings, and immediately called for one concerning the exile of one wolf. Needless to say, Serellius no longer had a home by the end of the day.
After that, there's little left to say. Serellius wandered about the lands, far away from his former pack, and was constantly plotting revenge. His brother had chased him away and wounded his right eye in the process, and Serellius was sure that it had been Rellitrus' attack that had caused his right eye to turn red.
It's unknown how he gained his alias, Radar, but it had something to do with his ears. Who gave it to him? That's a good question. It was a name that Nell had once affectionately called his son, because Nell had known of human objects. He had known of radars, and that his son's ears resembled one.
Soon, Serellius took on that old nickname, and it soon became the only name he was ever called. Now, he isn't Serellius Kathetar. He's Radar, rogue and wolf straight out of hell.
