Amory had been around for a few days now. He had spent most of his time investigating. Everthing around here reminded him of his old hom and life. But it was all so different. He had to stay here. If he didn't he may never find someplace so different from his old life, which he needed.
Life had slowley been looking up for Amory. It had been 8 months since the disaster, and everything was going the way he wanted it too for a change. And he was taking a special liking to this land, so he decided it was going to be his.
Amory slowley raised his muzzle the way he had stopped doing a while ago. It was the first time in ages he had howled of joy, and at first it sonded dry and raspy. So he paused then resumed. Notes of pride echoed in the soundwaves. It wounded throught the tree branches and under the streams. Behind the elk and around the mountans. "A new pack has been born." it screamed.
When Amory was finished with his song he marked his new territory. Amory was happy after so long, his dream, realised. He climbed atop a bent-looking boulder and starred down at the horizon, where the tip of the moon could be seen coming up. As the perfect moment was ending, a flashback hit him.
"Brothers! Friends! Fathers! Sisters! Mothers! Lets make this a victory weshall never forget!" I screamed. I began running over to the other pack's terratory. I was leading our packs' army into battle against the Dying Sun pack. It was a battle for more then life, but for the layout destiny of our world. We were all ready to fight. We had been preparing for this for many moons.
I was the cheif of our army. I was trusted by the alpha to lead this war and to win, and it had been going perfectly. I ran headlong into battle, and immedietly began slashing at other wolves. I was making my way to their cheif warrior.
I was doing well. I had almost got him when I looked around. My family all lay dead. Most of the warriors on our side were dead too. The others were fighting with the same spirit I had at the beggining of the battle. when they noticed I stopped they stopped too. They looked around at the death. But stopping was not helping us.
The other pack just kept on coming and coming. I was blown away and stopped to watch them for a minute. But then Wodar, the leader, attacked me. He landed on my neck and began tearing at everything. Then a trainie warrior dove onto Wodar and pushed him off of me. Wodar turned and killed the trainie. I watch the life stream out of his eyes. Quickley I lifted my head and grabbed Wodar's throught and killed him. I could barley move anything else. Everything was full off pain.
Amory snapped back to the present. He was deepley shaken. his flashbacks hadn't seemed so real before. He went back to looking tall. He wanted to show his future pack members that he was strong.
