Padding into the deserted terrace, dark orbs belonging to an even darker vixen surveyed the area, squinting every now at little particulars, investigating potential signs of life. Of course, they were all false alarms, as had every sign been since Shareen arrived in this God-forsaken land. Still, though she was suffering miserably from the lack of wolven contact, the she-wolf still felt it a necessity to stake out a claim of land on which to establish a pack -- hopefully, anyway. But, yes, that was her plan: To attract the few, if any, wolves in the land to her territory and create at the last a small family pack. Not that she still didn't dream of ruling over one of the most ferocious packs in the land.. But this didn't seem like the kind of place where many dreams came true.
Shaking such disheartening thoughts from her mind, the onyx vixen continued on her leisurely trek, her curiousity only being being piqued when she stumbled upon the ancient, rusted-out cages that once belonged to the humans that used to colonize this place.
Interesting..
The vix muttered to herself, swarthy tail swishing to and fro as she mulled over the terrace's properties in her mind. Though the territory had magnificient means of protection, examples of which stood right in front of her, and a water supply that would suffice, it somehow managed to suffer horribly in the prey department. Oh, well. That problem could easily be resolved by hunting in other areas if need be. Even that would not be such a large problem if the pack stayed small.. If there would be a pack.
A small growl escaping the large fae, she again pushed such pessimistic thoughts to the far reaches of her mind. Physically shaking herself to loosen up, Shareen paused for half a second, then raised her muzzle to the sky and let loose a long, low, depressing howl. A howl of claimance, and an open invitation for all others to quell her seemingly permanent lonliness.
I, Shareen, claim these lands as my own, as the land of the Eclipsion Pack. Any who attempt to defy me will be dealt with by me, the Alphess. Any who are currently packless will be welcomed with open arms.. But beware.
With that, the fae lowered her skull, and retreated to one of the many cages to rest in. Perhaps some wolves would hear both her declaration and invitation to her new pack. Perhaps they would come.. Or, perhaps, not.
